Bamboozled IPA Pre-Game 5K Road Race 2018 in Weymouth MA

The Bamboozled IPA Pre-Game 5K Road Race is the South Shore’s best Superbowl Sunday running event which will be held on Sunday February 4th at 930am. Don’t just sit around waiting for the big game to begin! Start the day with a fun, healthy run to offset that junk food.

It’s a fast 5K starting and finishing at Weymouth’s Barrel House Z craft brewery. Following the race we’ll host a post race celebration in the taproom featuring a free beer, light food  and unique awards. Space is limited and registration is filling up fast. No late registration

The Bamboozled IPA Pre-Game 5K features a fast flat course which starts and finishes at Barrel House Z. It’s an out and back route with a loop at the midpoint. The runner with the best football themed costume (as determined by our judges) and the overall race winners will receive a custom BHZ Beer Tap Handle and a Gift Certificate. The post race celebration including a complimentary (age 21 and older) Bamboozled IPA craft beer and light food offering

The Columbian Square’s Annual Christmas in the Square Holiday Stroll in Weymouth  will be on Saturday December 2nd   from 4pm -7pm in South Weymouth. This wonderful Christmas Holiday Celebration will be here before we know it!

New England Wildlife Center Night of Thousand Faces 2017 in Weymouth MA

The Night of a Thousand Faces will be held on Friday October 27th  and Saturday October 28th from 6:30 PM to 8:0New England Wildlife Center Night of Thousand Faces 2017 in Weymouth MA0 PM at  the New England Wildlife Center in  Weymouth. Admission is $8, and all proceeds go toward the care of our wildlife patients.  Check out all the South Shore Kid friendly Halloween events 

Every year we line the trails outside New England Wildlife Center with hundreds of pumpkins carved by professionals and our local community. There will be cotton candy, cookies, cider, costumes, crafts, animal presentations, music and much much more. Bring your special ones down to enjoy a night of fun filled Halloween spirit. We cannot wait to see you there


The admission price for kids and adults is $8 per person! Refreshments will be available for purchase as well.

NO STROLLERS PLEASE! The nature trail cannot accomodate strollers. Please consider a front carrier or backpack to enjoy the trail with your baby or toddler.

FRRACS Community Fall Fest 2017 in Weymouth MA

FRRACS will be hosting a community fall festival in the park next to the proposed compressor station.   Saturday, October 21st from 11AM-4PM  We will gather to celebrate the park and all that we have accomplished thus far in the fight against the compressor station. We hope that you will join us in this celebration.

There will be music, kids activities, food and more. This event is free and all are welcome to join!

Location: 6 Bridge Street, North Weymouth (the park next to the proposed compressor station site). Entrance is at the base of the Fore River Bridge.

There is limited parking on site, but we will have overflow parking with shuttles available from St. Joseph’s Church in Quincy (556 Washington St.).

If you park on site, you can park along the fence and in the parking lot at Lovell’s Grove (on the Calpine side of the bridge). There is a small lot on the right side of the bridge (coming from Weymouth) that will be available for handicap parking. We will have volunteers helping to direct parking.
