Rockland Holiday Stroll 2017

The 2017 Rockland Holiday Stroll is scheduled to take place Saturday evening, November 25th from 4 to 7 p.m. The stroll will take place from the Rockland Library to the Magoun-Biggins Home on Union Street. This is a great Christmas holiday event for the entire family.

At 4 p.m., Santa and Mrs. Claus will arrive at Biggins Funeral  for the parade  . South Shore BMW of Rockland showing off their convertibles. The Rockland police and fire departments, Rockland Cheerleaders, Marie’s M.a.D. Dancers and South Shore Tae Kwon Do (SSTKD) are just some of the groups included in the parade.

Town Hall, banks and other businesses will be open along Union Street, many of them giving away holiday treats.

The Magic of David Olliver returns for 2 shows 4:15pm and 6pm at the community center.   Please feel free to bring a unwrap new toy for Holiday Magic.

 

Rockland Youth Commission Touch a Truck 2016

The   Rockland Youth Commission will be hosting  Touch a Truck  on Saturday October 15th the John Rogers Middle School  10-2pm. Rockland Youth Commission Touch a Truck 2016

Kids  are invited to see, climb, and explore the wide variety of  cars, emergency,fire trucks  and construction trucks. There will be  face painting, giveaways , and lots of  fun.

Lightning Willow Farm Harvest Fest 2016 in Rockland MA

We are very excited to open up our small family farm to the community for the first time! The Gaffney family has been restoring this historic property for the last 8 years, and although there’s always more to finish, we’d love you to come see what we’re all about and share in the fun!   Moms Shopping Survey Earn Amazon gift card and more

There will be an herbal infusion demonstration at 1pm, where you can try your hand at creating your own healing oil. We will be doing milking demonstrations throughout the day. Watch us milk a goat, ask questions, even try it out if you’d like! Feed chickens and ducks on your way down to our wooded acreage where the happy goats and bunnies live. Listen to music, eat great food from local vendors, pet the goats, or just take a stroll around the farm and take in the sights of this beautiful season!

Admission: Just $2 per person, All children 12 and under FREE!!
Parking: We ask everyone to please park across the street at 46 Liberty St. There will be an attendant there to help you find a spot, and the parking is FREE! Please do not block our neighbor’s driveways or park at the Seven Eleven!

Rockland Community Center Wiggles & Giggles Indoor Playgroup

Wiggles & Giggles is a at drop in playgroup playspace that is held Monday thru Friday morning  9-11:30am at the Rockland Community Center.  It is perfect to get the littles ones toddlers, and preschoolers  out in the morning and have a playdate.   Rockland Community Center Wiggles & Giggles Indoor Playgroup

Located on the 3rd Floor of the Community Center is a playroom for ages up to 5 years old.  They  have a drop in rate of $3.00 per child or a Monthly rate of $25 per month.
