Boston SouthCoast Comic Con Summer 2017 at Hanover Mall

The   Boston SouthCoast Comic Con & Collectibles Extravaganza will be held at the Hanover Mall on Saturday  July  22nd  10-6 and Sunday July 23rd  10-5. This is a family friendly entertainment event featuring all things that appeal to fans of Comics, Collectibles, Movies, Television, Video Games, Cosplay, Personal Experiences, Nerd, Geek and Pop Culture.

Hanover Builds the Boards will be hosting a movie night on Friday June 30th at Forge Pond Park.Family Movie Night at Forge Pond Park 2017 in Hanover MA

Join us for Family Movie Night at Forge Pond Park where we’ll be showing The Goonies on a GIANT 30′ Screen! Gates open at 7 and the movie starts at 8:30. Bring your lawn chairs, blankets and coolers to this great summer event!

The cost is $20 per car to be paid at the gate. Proceeds to benefit Hanover Build the Boards and the Hanover Multi Use Recreational Facilities to assist in building Hanover’s new street hockey and multi sport rinks at B. Everett Hall Field.

Hanover Day Fireworks & Carnival 2017

The 12th  annual Hanover Day will be held on Saturday June 24th from 10 am. to 10 pm. at Sylvester Field on Route 139. The full day of activities including the carnival & fireworks is a growing tradition among families of the South Shore .Proceeds from the will be given as grants to the Hanover Senior Center, John Curtis Free Library, Hanover Schools, and individual artists, musicians, and performers. The carnival is also opened on Friday night from 6pm-10pm.

July 9th– Divas with a Twist

Diva with a Twist is a unique musical group that performs all different genres of music, based out of Boston, MA.  With five powerhouse female vocalists, backed by Grammy nominated musicians, Divas with a Twist is sure to captivate any audience.  The musicians and vocalists bring originality and a high powered sound, creating, and delivering unique and highly entertaining performances every time! You’ll hear songs by Queen, The Who, Gloria Estefan, The Temptations, Aretha Franklin, Michael Jackson, Maroon Five, Lady Gaga, Adele and MORE!

July 16th– Kelsey Gilbert and Paul Doolittle

Kelsey Gilbert and Paul Doolittle are an acoustic duo playing classic songs from all decades of the modern era of American Popular Music.

July 23rd– John Doney

John Doney is a singer-songwriter with Western MA roots who has settled down in the South Shore.  His music has been influenced by folk, rock, blues and country.  He pulls from the likes of the Beatles and Paul Simon, with a nod towards rock n’ roll’s country and blues foundation.  He has been writing and performing music across the state for the past 10 years.

July 30th– Lonesome Jukebox

Lonesome Jukebox mixes musical genres from every corner of the melting pot of “Americana”. Composed of relatives and long-time friends the band’s live shows are known for the celebratory and inclusive nature for their love of music and respect for their audience. Their infectious camaraderie often pulls musician friends to join in at shows and expand their good natured mission to keep things fun.

Heather Nash is a passionate aspiring songwriter and musician from Hanover, MA.

By the age of 23, John Logan published two books, was on America’s Got Talent, and consulted a national Toyota commercial. You may recognize John’s name from the news where he captured national headlines when Tom Brady talked about him in his press conference. As the New England Patriots Team Magician and host of his own web series with the players, John was also the Opening Act for the Malcolm Mitchell Tour (Super Bowl 51 Champion). A recent graduate from Bryant University, John is currently presenting keynotes on creativity, helping to develop two television shows, and being the Associate Producer for an upcoming movie.

Heather Nash is a passionate aspiring songwriter and musician from Hanover, MA.

Rick Goldin’s lively, interactive and humorous children’s songs have made him one of the most popular children’s entertainers in New England.  Children love his live performances because they get to sing, dance and jump along with Rick and his singing animal puppets Henry The Horse, Quackleberry Duck, and others. His latest recording “I Like to Read” received a Parents’ Choice Recommended Award, and features songs about books, libraries and learning to read.  Rick has worked as a full-time children’s entertainer and recording artist for over twenty years. He performs at schools, libraries, parks and recreation concerts, festivals and fairs and at all kinds of community and family events.
