The 143rd running of the Brockton Fair takes place from Thursday June 29th 2017 to Sunday July 9th 2017 at the Brockton Fairgrounds, Belmont St., Brockton MA. There is something for everyone in the family to see and enjoy.

Massasoit Day will be held on Saturday June 3rd. It culminates the year-long celebration of the College’s 50th anniversary. We’re excited to open up our Brockton Campus for a day of FREE family-friendly fun, and hope you will join us for music, food, games, and more.
All events will be held rain or shine on the Brockton Campus at 1 Massasoit Boulevard.
The free daytime events begin at noon with food, music, activities, games, coloring, and arts & crafts. At 6:30, local artist Jo Ann Rothschild will host an art exhibit in the Fine Arts building, and at 7:30, our evening performance from Shirley Alston Reeves and Tom Rush will get underway. Tickets are now on sale at $35 and $50 for VIP seating, which includes a meet and greet with the artists following the show.

It’s 1959, and Rydell High School’s senior class is in rare form. The too-cool-for-school “Burger Palace Boys” are stealing hub-caps and acting tough and their gum-snapping, chain-smoking “Pink Ladies” are looking hot in bobby sox and pedal pushers. The 1950s high school dream is about to explode in this rollicking musical that is both an homage to the idealism of the fifties and a satire of high schoolers’ age-old desire to be provocative and rebellious. At the heart of the story is the romance between hot-rodding gangster, Danny Zuko, and the sweet new girl in town, Sandy Dumbrowski. They had a secret romance in summer, but now back in the context of school, peer-pressure and cliques make their love a bit more complicated. Can Danny maintain his cool dude status and still make demure Sandy his girl? The whole gang sings and dances around Danny and Sandy’s romance, through such hit songs as “Greased Lightnin'”, “We Go Together”, and “Mooning”, recalling the music of Buddy Holly, Little Richard and Elvis Presley that became the soundtrack of a generation. Grease is among the world’s most popular musicals and has a cult-like following, especially among teens! Come re-live the womp-bomba-lu-bop days with this iconic American songfest.
