Historic New England will be hosting drop in sessions on 3 Thursday mornings at the Quincy House. August 3rd, 10th and 17th from 10-12pm.
Join Historic New England educators for three days of activities at Quincy House, ideal for children ages four through ten. Each week features a Story Walk, hands-on activities that promote development of the skills early elementary students need, craft projects to foster creativity, and lots of fun.
Drawing from 400 years of New England’s rich history, each week has a different theme: gardening and farming on August 3; preservation, architecture, and design on August 10; and education and play as we get ready to go back to school on August 17. Families are encouraged to bring a picnic lunch to enjoy at the end of the program.
This is a drop-in program. All children must be accompanied by an adult. Register here
