Diversity Day at Hanover Mall 2018
The Hanover Mall and South Shore Children;s Museum will be hosting Diversity Day on Sunday January 21st from 2-5pm. There will be fun kid friendly activities throughout the afternoon. . You and your family can Participate in cultural performances all afternoon.
Beginning at 2pm arts and crafts booths will be available so children can make masks and Chinese Lucky envelopes. Lots of fun hands on activities to get families ready to participate in the performances below.
At 3pm Wah Lum Kung Fu & Tai Chi Academy will be performing the exciting Chinese Lion Dance to bring in the Lunar New Year of the Dog, which will take place this year on February 16, 2018. Their adult and youth Performance Troupe will also demonstrate traditional Kung Fu martial arts. Audience participation for a mini interactive Kung Fu Workshop will follow. These engaging exhibitions are adults and kids friendly and not to be missed!
At 4pm In addition, The Kenny Academy of Irish Dance returns with their colorful and well-loved performances of traditional Irish dance. This upbeat performance showcases children of all ages who perform at the state and national level. Between the colorful costumes and terrific choreography- everyone in the family is sure to enjoy!
