Cape Cod Central Railroad is offering The Train to Christmas Town Ride weekends from November 18th to December 27th in Buzzards Bay. Aboard the train, dancing chefs serve warm cocoa and a delicious nut-free chocolate chip cookie to each passenger. After the train rolls into the North Pole, Santa boards with his elves and gives each child a shiny silver bell while the elves lead a merry sing-along. Similar t a Polar Express ride 
Based on the beloved children’s book, the Train to Christmas Town, our holiday ride recreates on board the story book tale that is sure to become a family favorite tradition!
The story follows the journey of Janice and her brother on their annual ride to Christmas Town but this year is different because their grandma isn’t able to go with them. Every year she prepares a special bag for them to open and enjoy during their ride. On board they share seats with their friends and woodland animals, they meet elves serving cocoa and cookies and eventually stop to welcome aboard a very special passenger, Santa Claus. Will all the holiday fun and heartfelt surprises in their bags help calm their worries about their Grandma?
Train to Christmas Town features an engaging cast of storybook characters including Wabash the squirrel, Zephyr the cat, and Bumblebee the bear, all going to Christmas Town on the train. It teaches the value of friends and family, keeping traditions, and how the magic of Christmas is for all ages, not just children.
