Abington Rockland  & Whitman  Tri Town Parade 2017

Saturday, November 11, 2017 in Rockland starting at 9:00 am – Please join Rockland, Whitman & Abington for a parade to support America’s Veterans.

The 64th Annual Tri-Town Veterans Day Parade – Starting at 9:00 am

Parade Route: Parade begins near Hoadley plumbing on Union St. and proceeds though Rockland Center and ends at the Plaza on 123.

Bridgewater Tri Town Veterans Day Parade 2017

This years Tri-Town Veterans Day Parade will be hosted by the Town of  West  Bridgewater. The 2016 Tri-Town Veterans Day Parade will be on Veterans Day, Friday  , November 11th starting at 10:00am. PARADE ROUTE: N . Elm Street, left onto W. CenterStreet (Route 106), left onto N. Main Street (Route 28), to Town Hall Gazebo.

Duxbury Veterans Day Ceremony 2017

On Friday  , November 11 at 11:00 am the Duxbury American Legion Post 223 will be holding its annual Veterans Day celebration at the Post Hall at 5 West Street. The community is invited to attend.

Halifax Veterans Day Ceremony 2017

The Town of Halifax will hold its annual Veterans’ Day ceremony on Friday , November 11, 2016 at 9am at the Halifax Town Hall, 499 Plymouth Street. This short ceremony includes the laying of wreaths at the various monuments near the Town Hall and a few words from the attendees.

Hingham Veterans Day Breakfast & Ceremony 2017

The Hingham Veterans’ Council is pleased to announce the itinerary for this year`s Annual Veteran’s Day Observance, formerly called Armistice Day.

Veterans` Day 2016 will begin with the CPL Lawrence St. Laurent Breakfast at the Hingham Senior Center from 08:30-10:00 a.m.  This event is open to ALL Military, Veterans, and their families; sponsored by the Hingham American Legion and the V.F.W. Posts.

The main event will be the held in the Sanborn Auditorium at Town Hall, beginning promptly at 11 a.m. There will be reserved seating for ALL Military and Veterans.  Th

Following the indoor tribute to our Town`s Veterans there will be a wreath laying ceremony and Pledge of Allegiance at the Veterans’ Memorial outside Town Hall.

Hull Veterans Day Ceremony 2017

The Hull War Memorial Commission and the Hull VFW Richardson Post 1787 cordially invite all World War II Veterans living in Hull to the Veterans Day Memorial observance at the Hull War Memorial on November 11, 2016, 11:00 AM.

Marshfield Veterans Day Ceremony 2017

The Veterans Day Parade, a longstanding tradition in Marshfield, may be canceled this year, but the town has not forgotten about its servicemen and women.

A ceremony honoring Marshfield’s veterans will still be held at 11 a.m. Nov. 11 at Veterans Memorial Park. For George Earle, a veteran on the Marshfield Parade Committee, the ceremony is the most important part of the day, and one that will never be canceled.

 

Milton Parade and Ceremony 2017
Milton’s American Legion Post #114 and the administration of the Town of Milton jointly invite you to participate in the Veteran’s Day observance to be held Saturday November 11 2017

All participants who wish to march in this year’s parade should gather at Milton High School, 25 Gile Road by 10:30 a.m. The parade will proceed from Milton High School to Canton Avenue and onto the Town Hall for the Veteran’s Day services, which will begin at 11:00 a.m.

Norwell Veterans Day Ceremony 2017

The ceremony will be at  11 a.m. Saturday  at the town common on Main Street.

Pembroke Ceremony 2017

11 a.m.  ceremony  on Saturday   at Pembroke Middle School, 559 School St. There will be guest speakers, and the Pembroke High School Chorus will perform.

Plymouth Parade & Ceremony 2017

The Department of Veterans’ Services and Plymouth’s Veterans Council wishes to extend an invitation for you to join us in our annual Veterans Day Parade, on Saturday Nvember 11th .

NOTE: The parade will assemble at 9:00 am and step off is at 9:30 am from Hedge Rd. in North Plymouth. From Hedge Road the parade will turn left heading south on to Court Street to Cherry Street, turning west heading to Standish Ave.  Turn South on to Standish Ave, stop at the Veterans Field Memorial, World War One Memorial for a brief ceremony.  The parade will proceed south turn left on to Hamilton Street turning right on to Court Street and proceed to Memorial Hall, World War II and Spanish War memorials for a brief ceremony. Proceed south down Court Street to Plymouth County Court House,Korea and Vietnam Memorial for a brief ceremony.  The parades will continue south on Court Street to the WWI Memorial Bridge for a brief ceremony.  The Parade will end at the Plymouth Training Green with a ceremony at the Grand Army of the Republic Memorial.

 

 

Quincy Veterans Day Parade 2017

The City’s annual Veterans Day Parade and Observance will be held on November 11. The parade steps off at 10:30 a.m. at the intersection of Quincy Avenue and Scammel Street, and proceeds on Hancock Street to the Adams Academy. Mayor Thomas Koch will join Master of Ceremonies Larry Norton, president of the Vietnam Combat Veterans Combined Armed Forces, for the annual observance at the Adams Academy. The Sons of the American Legion, Morrissette Post, will hold its special Veterans Day “Flags For Veterans Island” ceremony on Sunday at 1 p.m. at the island at School and Pleasant Streets.

Randolph Breakfast & Parade 2017

A new part of this year’s ceremonies will be featuring submissions by our Middle & High School students.  We hope to have several students speak about the Veteran in their life and how that Veteran has been important to them.  We invite them to write a small piece and submit a picture to #MyVeteran.  We will feature the submissions on the Milton & Randolph Veterans Services Facebook page.  At the Veterans Council Breakfast, Veterans Services Officer, Albert Williams will be presenting the Republic of Korea, Korean Ambassador of Peace Medal to several Korean War Veterans.

On Saturday November 11th, 2017, Veterans Day, the day’s events are as follows:

9:00 a.m.       Veterans Council Breakfast and Speakers Program – Elks Lodge, 21 School St, Randolph, MA 02368

10:45 a.m.      Veterans & color guards will form up and march to Randolph War Memorial, Crawford Square

11:00 a.m.      Randolph Veterans Services Office Albert Williams and the Randolph Veterans Council will conduct a brief ceremony and a wreath laying at the Randolph War Memorial, Crawford Square.

Scituate Veterans Ceremony 2017

11 a.m  Saturday   at the GAR Hall, 353 Country Way, hosted by American Legion Post 144. All veterans and a guest are invited to attend a turkey luncheon following the ceremony. Seating is limited. Call Bob Young, the post commander, at 617-417-5267 to make a reservation.

Sharon Veteran’s  Day Ceremony 2017

Ceremony: 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.  Saturday the corner of Billings and Pond streets. There will be a display featuring military vehicles and a veterans booth. At noon, there will be speakers at the same location.

Stoughton Veterans Day Parade 2017

9 a.m. Saturday    starting at VFW Post 837 on Washington Street. The parade will stop at town hall for a ceremony and wreath laying at the Memorial Bell. The parade will re-form on Pearl Street, and another ceremony will be held at Faxon Veterans Memorial Park. The participants will include local veterans, the VFW color guard and firing detail, the Stoughton High School band, local police and fire departments, town and state officials and local Scouts.
