Easton Lions Holiday Festival Weekend 2016

The Easton Lion’s Annual Holiday Festival will be held (rain or shine or snow) Saturday December 3rd   from 10 am to 6 pm ( Talent Show at 7pm in Oakes Ames Hall) and Sunday  December 4th  from 12 noon to 5 pm. Easton Lions Holiday Festival Weekend 2016

It includes a very popular Arts & Crafts Fair in Oakes Ames Memorial Hall both days, live entertainment outside, food, games, rides, parades and a kids show and Holiday Parades on Sunday.

Festival Highlights

The Farmer’s Daughter – Holiday Festival in Downtown Easton
Saturday, December 03, 2016, 10:00 – 17:00  New This Year: The Farmer’s Daughter is having a Holiday Festival in Downtown Easton on Saturday, December 3rd. There will be signature cocktails, kid’s hot cocoa bar, complimentary hor d’oeuvres and a Lions Club raffle. In the space next to the Farmer’s Daughter there will be an area set-up and open to the public!

Family Rides and Games
Saturday, December 03, 2016, 10:00 – 17:00   Trackless Train – FREE for all thanks to our Sponsor
Creative World Children’s Learning Center  Take a ride on the ever-popular trackless-train, jump in the bouncy houses, enjoy a hayride around the historic district, play carnival games (12-4), and hamburgers, hot dogs, chili, popcorn, fried dough, and french fries.   Prices for each are paid by 1-5 tickets. Buy tickets for $1 each at the ticket booth on Barrows and Main St.
Festival Food Stands
Saturday, December 03, 2016, 10:00 – 17:00   Sponsored by our friends at Boston’s Best Coffee Come enjoy some great festival food, from hamburgs and hot dogs to fried dough and french fries, warm hot chocolate, water and soda all prepared by the Easton Lions Club!   Prices for each are paid by 1-5 tickets. Arts and Crafts Fair
Come join the crafters inside Oakes Ames Memorial Hall and enjoy two floors of beautiful arts and crafts and displays of finely crafted wares. Great shopping with an incredible array of gifts for family and friends.

Ames Free Library and Queset House

oks, movies, magazines, board games and more with the whole family. Browse the art of Eveline Johnson and Jessica Lazarus. At the Queset House build young imaginations with the LEGO Club 10:00-12:00, show off your gaming skills at Teen Gaming 1:00-4:30, and support all the library offers by picking up a book for a friend in the Friends of the Library Book Sale.

Rockery Lighting Ceremony with Santa
Saturday, December 03, 2016, 17:00 – 18:00  Join Santa as he arrives on his big Red Fire Truck and help kick-off the holiday season with lights and music at the Rockery! The lights will turn on each evening in December from about 4:30 to 10:00 pm. Playing time of show is about 20 minutes and starts every half-hour.  Lights and music arranged by John Lamar & Charlie Dresing.

Holly Fair and Breakfast with Santa
Sunday, December 04, 2016, 08:00 – 13:00  Breakfast with Santa goes from 8:00am to 12:00pm, tickets available at the door. The Fair is free to all! Come take a chance on fabulous raffle baskets and the Snowflake Raffle; enjoy the delicious cookie stroll, homemade jams & pickles, and the buck-a-bag for kids.

Breakfast Tickets: $5 per person or $20 per family
As part of the Village Festival of Lights, the Annual Holiday Parade, with Santa Claus leading the way, will start at 1:00 pm (assembly begins at 12:30 pm) at the Easton Village Shoppes/Washington Plaza (Corner of Rte. 138 – Washington Street- and Main Street). The parade runs down Main St through the Rockery and ends past the library on North Main St.

If you, your family, your group or organization would like to participate with your business vehicle, a float, a decorated car, truck, wagon, bicycle, just march in, or whatever, you would be most welcome! This is an opportunity to be imaginative and get your business or group in front of townspeople.
