Pond Meadow Park in Braintree & Weymouth where to walk & hike

Where to Walk and Hike and Get Fresh Air on the South Shore Boston

There is   1.5  mile paved  walking path loop around the pond which is perfect for brining the baby stroller around and it is very shaded.   You will see many people walking, jogging, bike riding as well.   Dogs are welcomed but please leash them as well as bring poop bags.

There are several side trails of varying length throughout the park leading away or looping with the main paved trail.

Here is what people are saying

Well maintained, paved route. Picnic tables and many small alternative trails along the paved walk.

Nice little loop to run on or take a lunchtime stroll. lovely.

There is a paved route, but there are some decent size hills the entire trail.

You can enter this park on either the Braintree or Weymouth side. Trails are not marked as they should be indicating which direction to head to (Braintree vs Weymouth entrance). Paved which is nice but very hilly – don’t recommend bikes for little children. Clean. Beautiful scenery.
