Timber Lanes is a great  candlepin bowling alley on Route 18 in Abington for both kids and adults. They have great deals on renting a  lane for 6 people.  Depending on the day of the week or time, lanes rent from $20 to $70 for 2-4 hours period. It includes shoe rental.  Monday afternoons are $20 while prime time Saturday evening are closer to $70.
If you are going out at night they do have a small bar there, so you can have a drink or two before you bowl. They do Cosmic Bowling, and Bowling to the Oldies on weekend nights. You’ll have to deal with the many teenagers on a Friday or Saturday. They have  small  arcade and video machines for kids to play.
They are a great place to have a children’s birthday party in Abington  You can bring in your own cake and pizza no restrictions!
