As most of the schools get out for the summer this week we are going to focus on the kids! A great trip for a morning or afternoon is the Capron Zoo in Attleboro! It is smaller so it is NOT an exhausting day trip for either YOU or the kids!
Your little ones will enjoy animals all over the world from Tigers to Birds! Capron Park Zoo also has a water splash pad that is included with admission. The water splash pad is opened during the summer months so bring a swim suits
The zoo has a seperate entrance than the park. The park has a modern fun-looking playground for kids, walkways, picnic areas and a beautiful garden. While you can’t bring your own food into the park the playground is perfect area to have a picnic lunch before or afterwards!

** PLEASE NOTE: During the winter the zoo maybe closed due to weather or unsafe conditions in the zoo – even if the day seems nice. It is best to CALL AHEAD during the winter months to ensure the Zoo is open!

Looking for a not too scary, fun Halloween evening for your family? Come down to Capron Park Zoo! Games and activities for the kids – even a train ride will be out in the zoo to enjoy. You can stop and listen to music or just enjoy enjoy an evening stroll through the zoo. All activities are included in the cost of admission (food/drink is extra).
AVOID THE LINES by purchasing tickets in advance. Tickets will be available OCTOBER 1. $7/adult (age 13+), and $5/child (age 3-12). 2 and under are free of charge
