Oro Restaurant is fine dining with a casual vibe on the Scituate Harbor. It is located in the historic Welch Building where the culinary team chooses the highest quality ingredients from local farms and fishermen. It is a great place for a girls night or a romantic date night. Take a stroll along the harbor and then stop in for dinner or drinks.
Start off Oysters on the half shelf which are local from Duxbury or maybe their highly rated Sweet Corn Chowder with littleneck clams and Berkshire bacon. Their dinner menu is ever evolving but some favorites include Pork Osso Buco, parmesan polenta cake, swiss chard, pomegranate, fried leek or Truffled Potato Gnocchi, herbed ricotta, wild mushroom, parmesan, shaved prosciutto.
They have recently started a Sunday brunch from 11am-3pm which include a twist on traditional breakfast favorites including Nutella Stuffed French Toast and Huevos Rancheros. They also have some salads and burger options during the brunch hours. There is often some light musical entertainment.

Metro’s Cafe is a great breakfast and lunch restaurant located in a seaside village section Manomet of Plymouth, MA. . Metro’s Cafe serves Breakfast all day and lunch daily until 2pm. They also offer our Full Menu for Take Out. Although Metro’s Cafe does not accept Credit Cards, a ATM is located across the street.
Cindi Metro longed to open a bakery in the area when she came across a vacant restaurant, plans changed. Cindi, who has baked for many restaurants in the area, enlisted her sister, Dianne, who has had many years in the catering business and opened Metro’s Cafe. Making items from scratch, including pancake batter, corned beef hash and delicious homemade desserts along with hiring the most experienced and friendly wait staff has led to METRO’s Cafe success.
Some of the breakfast favorites on the menu include Portuguese Sweet Bread French Toast Thick Portuguese sweet bread French toast . Hash Benny which is 2 poached eggs, homemade hash on english muffins, hollandaise sauce, served with home fries. If you are on a low carb diet The Carnivore (No Carbs Omelette) A whopping 5 egg omelette filled with ham, bacon sausage and cheese no toast or homefries added! They have an early Bird Special Monday – Friday 7am – 8am Two eggs, bacon or sausage, homefries and toast for only $2.95 They also have daily breakfast specials posted on the board!
Lunch sandwiches are big and delish and they are available to go and relaxing lunch! Some of the chicken sandwiches include Buffalo Chicken Wrap, tuna melts, Mamoet chicken salad plus several burger types. Burgers and sandwiches are served or you can upgrade for fruit or onion rings on the side!

Jo’s Best Diner is a a small little family run bakery, breakfast and lunch place in Brockton MA. They serve breakfast all day long!
They have your typical breakfast menu items including eggs, bacon, pancakes and waffles! Some of the favorites on the menu include anything with their freshly made corn beef hash and it is cooked on the grill plus the cinnamon royal pancakes They have buffalo chicken omelet and even occasionally have the New England Omelet which is an omelet stuffed with lobster!! If your are an early bird Monday thru Friday they have breakfast specials between 6-9am for only $3.50 and that includes coffee.

The Tinker’s Son Irish Pub and restaurant is located in Norwell Center offers Irish comfort foods, a warm atmosphere and of course pints of Murphy’s, Guinness, Magners and Smithwick’s. The old tradition of Irish hospitality abounds here! Chef-owner Brian Houlihan serves up the kind of food that makes you feel warm all over. Brian grew up in Ireland, moved to the States when he was eighteen, and has worked in some of Boston’s best restaurants. So when he opened The Tinker’s Son in the 2009 he wanted to recreate the Irish Pubs of his homeland, pouring perfect pints, and serving fantastic food. The Tinker’s Son has won the Best Irish Pub of the South Shore and the Best Late Night Hangout. Brian also owns the Bia Bistro Restaurant in Cohasset.
They are open for breakfast Saturday and Sunday at 10am. They have a a la carte menu on both weekend morning and Sunday mornings they have a full brunch with typical brunch options but also plenty of Irish breakfast options including black and white pudding.
If you are coming for lunch or dinner there will be food like traditional Shepherds Pie, served in a cast iron skillet, topped with golden mashed potatoes and gooey melted cheddar. “There’s nothing better you can eat on a cold winter’s night than the Shepherds Pie here… It’s basically comfort food at its best.” When it comes to Mac and Cheese, The Tinker’s Son aims to please. It’s baked with a blend of Cheddar, Romano, and Swiss, which is great on it own, but even better when upgraded with Bacon and extra Cheddar, or Short Ribs and Blue Cheese. For some more beef and blue cheese, the Bacon Blue Burger is a half pound of certified angus, served on a grilled buttered bun. The steak tips are smothered in a rich Guinness Barbecue Sauce,
The Tinker’s Son truly is an authentic Irish Pub. It was named the place after a poem written by his father, that’s been painted on a wall of the dining room. There’s live music six nights a week, featuring traditional Irish songs including the Sunday brunch. . And even the furniture has been brought in from Ireland.

The Farmer’s Daughter is a new breakfast and lunch restaurant focusing on healthier choices and local produce in the North Easton Village. They are working with local farms to bring the freshest food for you and not your typical South Shore breakfast place.
Some of the breakfast items include “Avo” Egg Broiled avocado topped with farm egg drizzled with EVOO, ancho, parmesan, served with a toast or bagel. The Stonehill (college) Toasted bagel sandwich, choice of fried or scrambled eggs layered with Vermont cheddar cheese. They also have a skinny omelet as well as some pancake and waffle selections.
Lunch includes Not your Momʼs Tuna Melt Imported tuna preserved in olive oil, roasted peppers, fontina cheese and salsa verde served on pressed sourdough. Bangkok Wrap Thinly sliced Thai marinated chicken, cilantro-infused brown rice, shredded carrot and cabbage slaw and drizzled with toasted peanut vinaigrette. All sandwiches come with choice of: house made potato chips, chickpea salad, baby greens or fresh fruit. They also have some pork sliders, fancy tacos and several salad options.

Stanney’s Ice Cream & Sandwich Shoppe restaurant is located on Route 139 in Holbrook. It has been serving its customers for 50 years.
