Lakeville Arts & Music Festival 2016

The 12th annual Lakeville Arts & Music Festival will take place on Saturday, October 1st  between 10am and 4pm at the junctions of Route 18 and 105. It is a FREE day of community, art, a variety of crafts for sale, children and adult activities, and music South of Boston. It is a rain or shine event! Lakeville Arts & Music Festival 2016

Join the festivities for a day of shopping for one-of-a-kind hand made crafts and art; view 3 fabulous exhibits- a children’s summer painting exhibit inside the library, an exhibit of fine art from several artists inside the sanctuary of the Lakeville United Church of Christ and a quilt exhibit by Lakeville resident Ruth Gross inside the old Town Hall where there will also be musical entertainment and 4 new demonstrators.  Moms Shopping Survey Earn Amazon gift card and more

Malik Haddadi is a full time comedic magician with over 25 years of experience. He will be performing on Center Stage at noon at the Festival. Don’t miss this fun for the whole family!

The  main entertainment begins at 1:30 with the Colleen Marshall Trio featuring Colleen Marshall Tougas vocals, Michael Leach on guitar and Brian Montgomery on drums. The Trio will perform current and classics R&B hits from Aretha to Adelle.

Inside the Lakeville Public Library between 11am and 2pm at the Festival on October 1 you’ll be able to watch caricatures come to life! Don Landgren Jr. has been creating this art form appreciated by all ages for several years. Be sure to check it out!

The South Coast Historical Associates of Berkley will present and discuss the origins, tactics and strategies of both sides of King Philip`s War this conflict as well as the devastating outcome of this tragic time in Early American History.
