The Nutcracker Ballet South of Boston Performances 2015
The Nutcracker Ballet – it just may be the most classic of holiday traditions. And while the Boston Ballet’s Nutcracker is the most traditional of them all, choices for South Shore  families are numerous: traditional performances to modern interpretations, full-length, lavish productions to less traditional versions. 
Below is a list of South Shore -area performances of the Tchaikovsky holiday classic, coming to multiple stages in the coming weeks.
The International Ballet School of Norwell
The International Ballet School of Norwell will be performing 2 shows of the Nutcracker  at   Hingham High School  Saturday .  December . 5th  at 6 pm  and Sunday   December . 6th at 2 pm  Ticket astart at  $30 and can be purchased in advanced
Braintree Ballet
Saturday December 12th and Sunday December 13th
The Braintree Ballet Company Proudly presents it’s 19th season of the Nutcracker for 3 performances Saturday December 12th 2pm & 7pm and Sunday December 13th 2pm at East Junior High in Braintree. Tickets are $20 in advance $25 at the door if available Cash only at the door
South Shore Ballet Company  Hanover  High school
The four performances of The Nutcracker are Saturday, Dec. 12th at 1 p.m. and 6.p.m. and Sunday, Dec. 13th at 1 pm. and  6pm. Performances will be at  Hanover High school  . All seats are reserved. Tickets are  $20
The Nutcracker Ballet presented by the Dance Workshop of Hanover
A local favorite every holiday season, Dance Workshop and Children’s Dance Ensemble will be performing The Nutcracker Ballet on Saturday, December 19th and Sunday, December 20th at Whitman-Hanson Regional High School at 2pm. Online ticket sales begin November 15th! Join the holiday magic!
The Nutcracker: Magical at Bristol Community College Fall River
Jackson Arts Center at Bristol Community College is the perfect place to experience this much-beloved ballet that always dazzles with its battling mice, dancing snowflakes, waltzing flowers and the delightful Sugar Plum Fairy. Urban Nutcracker:
Combining ballet, swing, flamenco, hip-hop, step and urban tap along with Tchaikovsky’s classic score and Duke Ellington’s signature swing, Tony Williams’ Urban Nutcracker features a multicultural cast of talented dancers in this contemporary retelling of the classic fairy tale. Now in its 15th year, the production remains fresh with updated choreography, new costumes and surprise guest stars. Instead of the traditional children’s roles “Clara” and “Fritz,” though, this version of the story features the characters Clarice and Omar, whose roles are shared by six talented local kids, ages 9-13.
