The 2015 Feast of the Holy Ghost will be held on Thursday August 27th thru Sunday August 30th  with activities and attractions at Kennedy Park in Fall River. 11091256_908114069210361_8255910451744974934_n

Thursday, Aug. 27

7 p.m. Opening of the illumination in Kennedy Park, the following artists perform:

7 to 7:30 p.m. 2K; 7:30-8:15, Geana Soares;8:15 to 9 p.m., Catia Ferreira; 10 to 10:45 p.m., Portuguese Kids.

11 p.m. Closing

Friday, Aug. 28

7 p.m. Entrance of the Insignias of the Holy Ghost, blessing and distribution of the pensoes in the presence of D. Francisco Jose Senra de Faria Coelho, auxiliary bishop of Braga, Fall River Bishop Edgar Moreira Da Cunha, and dignitaries. St. Francis Xavier Band of East Providence will perform for the ceremony.

7:30 p.m. Inauguration of the pavilion of the Azorean handicraft and products regional of the Azores.

7:30 to 8 p.m. Folias of Our Lady of the Rosary Church from Providence

8 to 8:30 p.m. Ilha do Sol from East Providence will perform

8:30 p.m. Auction, and the following artists will perform:

9 to 9:45 p.m. Tony Borges and the group Euro

9:45 to 10:45 p.m. Arlindo Andrade and his group

11 p.m. Closing

Saturday, Aug. 29

9:30 a.m. Bodo de Leite from the Gates of the City to Kennedy Park via a Columbia Street and South Main Street. Milk and sweet bread will be distributed to all

2 p.m. Festival Folklore

2 p.m. Rancho Folclorico, Sonhos de Portugal, a folkloric group from New Jersey

2:30 p.m. Rancho Folclorico, Camponeses do Minho, a folkloric group from New Jersey

3 p.m. Rancho Folclorico, Recordaçöes de Portugal, a folkloric group

Sunday, Aug. 30

Noon Solemn High Mass of Coronation in Saint Anne’s Church con-celebrated with D. Francisco Jose Senra de Faria Coelho, auxiliary bishop of Braga, Portugal, and Fall River Bishop Edgar Moreira da Cunha

2 p.m. Procession of Coronation, which will incorporate mordomias, bands from New England and invited guests D. Francisco Jose Senra de Faria Coelho; Dr. Jose Cesario, Secretary of State for the Portuguese communities; Dr. Paul Teves, regional director of the communities of the Azores; João Moniz, local businessman; Fall River Mayor Sam Sutter; Dr. Pedro Carneiro, Portuguese consulate of New Bedford; D. Marcia Sousa, vice-consul of Portugal in Providence and other identities, religious, civic and political. The procession will travel the usual route: South Main, Columbia, Broadway and Bradford Avenue to Kennedy Park.

5 to 6:30 p.m. Band concert: Holy Rosary Band of Providence and Senhor da Pedra Band of New Bedford

6:30 to 7 p.m. Auction

7 to 7:45 p.m. Shirley Guerreiro performance

8 p.m. Drawing of the raffle and message from Great Feast President Joseph Silva

8:15 to 9:45 p.m. Jose Alberto Reis of Portugal will perform

10 p.m. Closing
