Scituate Heritage Days 2015
 Scituate Heritage Days 2015  will be held on Friday August 7th Saturday August 8th  and Sunday August 4th . The annual event combines live music and entertainment, a carnival artisan crafts, kid’s activities and historical site visits for one of the South Shore’s biggest and most anticipated outdoor events of the summer.  During the weekend, visitors can enjoy many events, activities, and music venues that Scituate Heritage Days has become famous for.
In addition to the many vendors at Heritage Days, Scituate Harbor boasts many retail shops, businesses and restaurants. You can find nautical and whimsical gifts shops along with stylish retail clothing stores. Some of the restaurants feature outdoor casual seating where you can enjoy the spectacular views of Scituate Harbor
FRIDAY, AUG. 7
4 p.m. – First Friday Night moves outside. Shops will be open later with special events and sales
6 to 8 p.m. – Harbor United Methodist Church Pie Social 55 First Parish Rd.
8:30 p.m. – Luminaria along Scituate coastline.
SATURDAY, AUG. 8
7-11: a.m. St. Luke’s Episcopal Church Bake Sale/Yard Sale. Corner First Parish Rd. & 3 A
7:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. – Scituate Rotary Club Pancake Breakfast at St. Luke’s Episcopal Church Corner First Parish Rd. & 3 A. Proceeds for local charities. Cost is $7 adult, $4 for children,6-10 yrs, (under 6 yrs free) and $20 for a family. Tickets available at the door.
9 a.m. to 5 p.m. – Front Street. Artisans, vendors and sidewalk sales.
9 a.m. 8 p.m. – Cole Parkway. Artisans, vendors, Food Court.
9 a.m. – Toe Jam Puppet Band: A zany and exuberant free family concert at the bandstand on Cole Parkway. The unique musical performances are interactive and theatrical.
10 a.m. – Opening ceremonies at the bandstand on Cole Parkway 10 a.m. – Jack Conway Real Estate sponsors a homemade baked goods sale at 80 Front St. to benefit the Friends of Scituate Seniors. 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. –Cole Parkway. Rides for the whole family from All About Fun Amusements.
10 a.m. to 5 p.m. – Children’s Art Workshop Tent located outside Scituate Art Association, 124 Front St. Sponsored by the Scituate Chamber of Commerce and Scituate Art Association. A variety of activities for children and teens; murals, collage and painting activities led by SAA member Kathy Mogayzel.
10:45 a.m. – Live Music TBA.
12:00 p.m. – Girls, Guns & Glory perform on stage in Cole Parkway.
1 to 4 p.m. – Scituate Historical Sites open. Scituate Lighthouse – 100 Lighthouse Road.
The Bates House – 6 Jericho Road; Maritime and Mossing Museum – 301 Driftway
Stockbridge Grist Mill – just north of the 3A rotary on Country Way; Mann Farmhouse –

2 p.m. – Boat races at Jericho Beach. Races for kayak, dory, working boat, slide seat. Special races for children under age 18.. 3:00 p.m. Big Brother & the Holding Company (Janis Joplin’s Band)perform on stage in Cole Parkway.
4:30 p.m. – The Fools perform on stage in Cole Parkway
4 to 6 p.m. – Traditional Pig Roast at Knights of Columbus, 234 CJC Hwy., Route 3A, Scituate

3.45 p.m. The Scituate Chamber of Commerce will present our annual Scholarships on the music stage.
4:30 p.m. –Atlanta Rhythm Section, Southern Rock Legends, performs on stage in Cole Parkway

Parking in Scituate Harbor is limited. Free parking and shuttle service is available at the Greenbush Rail Station on the Driftway Buses will run from 9 a.m. until approximately 8 p.m., on Saturday and 9 a.m. until 7 pm on Sunday.
