Day 965 First Night Whitman New Year Eve 2014-2015
Whitman Massachusetts will once again be celebrating First Night, an outdoor New Years Eve Event on Wednesday December 31st  . This event is for all ages so bring your children along and let’s celebrate! While the rest of the country watches the ball drop in New York City, residents of Whitman will be able to watch their town lower a giant Toll House cookie on New Year’s Eve. Whitman will drop a cookie 75 feet counting down to the new year,
Performances starting at 8:30PM
Divas with a twist –  Live Music
A replica tollhouse cookie will be lowered in the center of town as we count down the last minute before 2015!
A pyrotechnics display with take place in the center of town to celebrate the start of 2015!
Food will be available for purchase
FREE Stadium horns will be passed out starting at 11PM so we can begin making noise as we approach 2015!
There will be no kid specific activities.
First Night 2015 buttons are now available to purchase at the following locations. The cost is $1 and all proceeds will support the Whitman Food Pantry.
