America’s Hometown Thanksgiving Celebration will occur in Plymouth, Massachusetts the weekend before Thanksgiving. November 21-23th, 2014 with the huge Thanksgiving parade and the New England Good festival.  plymouth thanksgiving

The Parade begins Saturday at 11am at Holmes Field on Court St. in N. Plymouth along Main Street to Water Street. On Saturday from 11am-4pm, sample chowders, soups, desserts & more at the New England Food Festival. Saturday & Sunday visit the heated Crafter’s Pavilions & Kids Activity Tent. Concerts are held on Friday & Saturday night at Plymouth’s Memorial Hall.

New this year! The first annual Illuminate 2014 event will take place Friday, November 21 as a new kick off and illuminate the rich history of the holiday, reminding us of its inspirational message of peace and gratitude. The event will begin with a candle-lighting ceremony in conjunction with our sister-city, Plymouth, England, to celebrate the deep connection between the two created by the Mayflower’s voyage to Plymouth Colony, as well as other Plymouths across the United States.

NEW: Illuminate 2014 – DCR Pilgrim Memorial Park: 4-5pm
Thanksgiving Street Festival, Court Street: 5-7pm
Taste Of New England VIP Reception, Memorial Hall: 5-6:30pm (invitation only)
The PIDC Patriotic COncert – Performances by American Originals and Tops in Blue: 7-10pm (doors open at 6pm for general seating)
Saturday, November 22

Opening Ceremonies, DCR Pilgrim Memorial Park 10:30am
Thanksgiving Parade, Main Street, PLymouth: 11am-1:15pm
Hannaford Supermarkets New England Food Festival, DCR Pilgrim Memorial Park: 11am-4pm
