Day 901 Whitman Hanson Kids Fitness Festival 2014

The 9th annual Whitman Hanson Kids Fitness Festival will be held on Saturday September 20th from 11am-2pm at the Whitman Hanson Regional High school.  This Family friendly  event showcases healthy food and healthy activities that moms , dads and kids  can incorporate into their busy lives.

 

. ComePanther Logo-05 (2) sample healthy food samples and drinks, watch karate, dance, majorette and cheerleading performances, create a craft masterpiece, jump on a moonwalk, try field hockey, meet the High School Team Captains, dance with a DJ, run through an obstacle course and much, much more!!! All for $5 per person. Proceeds will benefit the Panther Education Trust which sponsors grants at W-H High School.

Awesome Fact #1
We will have the team captains from the high school sports teams on hand to meet, greet and autograph their pictures (provided by them). They will also be showing kids how to do some track events, how to play field hockey and how to play volleyball. Spread the word and check back tomorrow for more awesome facts!!

Awesome Fact #2
We will have food from Kind Bars, CLIF Bars, Way Better Snacks, and the WHRSD School District along with fruit from Katsiroubas & Lambert’s. We will also have drinks from Vita Coco, Ocean Spray & Tedeschi’s Store #360 all free with admission. Sample some at the event and bring a few home to share!!!!

Awesome Fact #3
We will have a DJ from Music N’ Motion spinning the tunes all day and engaging the kids in fun interactive games. The Old Colony YMCA will be there running field games and we will have a moonwalk and bungee race. Check back tomorrow for more Awesome Facts!!

We will have an obstacle course, field games, bungee race and moonwalk all included in the entrance fee. There are no hidden “gotcha” charges at our event. $5 gets you everything we have to offer!!

 

The Whitman-Hanson Education Foundation (Panthers Education Trust) is a non-profit, 501(c)(3), community-based organization committed to enriching the quality of public education in Whitman and Hanson. Since its incorporation in 2004, the WHEF has awarded grants to enhance educational quality throughout the system. These grants provided funding for innovative classroom projects, development of teaching strategies, special programs, new books and materials, improving technology and more.
