Day 873 Scituate Heritage Days & Carnival 2014
 Scituate Heritage Days  will be held on Friday August 1st, Saturday August 2nd and Sunday August 3rd . The annual event combines live music and entertainment, a carnivalartisan crafts, kid’s activities and historical site visits for one of the South Shore’s biggest and most anticipated outdoor events of the summer.  During the weekend, visitors can enjoy many events, activities, and music venues that Scituate Heritage Days has become famous for.
In addition to the many vendors at Heritage Days, Scituate Harbor boasts many retail shops, businesses and restaurants. You can find nautical and whimsical gifts shops along with stylish retail clothing stores. Some of the restaurants feature outdoor casual seating where you can enjoy the spectacular views of Scituate Harbor.

Friday August 1
4 P.M. First Friday Night movesoutside. Shops will be open later with special events and sales
6:00 TO 7:30 P.M. Happy Hour
Saturday August 2
9 A.M. Opening ceremonies at the bandstand on Cole Parkway
9 A.M. – 5 P.M. Front Street and Cole Parkway: Artisans, amusements, refreshments, music, children’s
activities and sidewalk sales.
9:15 – 10:00 A.M. Toe Jam Puppet Band: A zany and exuberant free family concert at the bandstand on
Cole Parkway. The unique musical performances are interactive and theatrical.
10 A.M.- 6 P.M.  Carnival Rides for the whole family from North American Amusements in Cole Parkway
10 A.M. – 5 P.M. Children’s Art Workshop Tent located outside South Coastal Bank. Sponsored by the Scituate Chamber of Commerce and Scituate Art Association. A variety of activities for children and teens; murals, collage and painting activities led by SAA member Kathy Mogayze
Sunday August 3rd
9 A.M. – 5 P.M. Front Street and Cole Parkway: Artisans, amusements,refreshments, music, children’s
activities, sidewalk sales. Fun for all.
9 A.M. – 5 P.M. Children’s Art Workshop tent located outside South Coastal Bank. Sponsored by the
Scituate Chamber of Commerce and the Scituate Art Association. A variety of activities for children and teens. Murals, collage and painting activities led by SAA member Kathy Mogayzel
10 A.M. – 5 P.M. Carnival Rides for the whole family from North AmericanAmusements.
1 P.M. Boat Parade/Blessing of the Fleet. All welcome. Boats line up at bell outside Harbor. Any and all boats are welcome.
