Day 698 Sintra Mediterranean Restaurant in Braintree MA
Sintra in Braintree Square  is a posh, romantic restaurant that’s been serving up Mediterranean comfort food for nearly a decade. And while it’s named for a city in Portugal, this is NOT a Portuguese the name represents the honeymoon spot of the Chef Owner.  It has been a Best of Boston winner for Best Bistro for 3 years.  This is a perfect place for a romantic date night on the South Shore.
The are only open for dinner and they have take American comfort favorite and add a  Mediterranean flair to them!!  For starters how about the  steamed littlenecks with chorizo, dijon-fennel cream and garlic toasts or the new crispy vegetable spring rolls. The  Lobster Bisque or the heirloom tomatoes with fresh mozzarella will make a wonderful second course. For dinner entrée  you may try the beef shortrib cannelloni with parmesan cream sauce. If you have room in your belly   you can end the night with vanilla bean crème brulée with fresh whipped cream, strawberries and mint.  Make sure you try some wine an maybe even an after dinner drink including some Irish Coffee.
If you are you planning a rehearsal dinner, bridal shower, business party, or a get-together with close friends?  Sintra is the perfect option in your home or ours. The  main dining room can accomodate up to 54 guests for a sit down meal or up to 70 guests if your looking to host an event with hors d’oeurves and cocktails.   A more intimate party can be held in either the  first floor Alley which is adjacent to our bar or in our second floor loft. Both spaces can accommodate up to 24 guests for a sit down meal.
