Braintree MA 4th of July Celebration Saturday June 29th

 

Come celebrate the nation’s birthday with the Braintree 4th of July Celebration Parade! The Parade is Saturday June 29 2013   and begins at the Hollis Elementary School at 11:45 am. Come watch 25 bands and drum and bugle corps, as

A celebration at Braintree High School fields begins at  2pm , featuring food, carnival rides, a drum corps exhibition, and a live music starting at 3:30pm.   .Fireworks at 10:00pm   check out the full schedule

 

 

Bridgewater MA fireworks 4th of July carnival and celebration

FIREWORKS – Legion Field (Rte. 18) – 9:30 PM

Annual favorites, FIRST PARISH UNITARIAN UNIVERSALIST CHURCH at 50 School Street traditionally sells hand-squeezed fresh lemonade, food, and hosts a booksale during the Arts & Music Festival. Be sure to make a quick stop on your way over to the festival, where they will also have an information table set up.

 Hanover Day Fireworks  

Hanover will have it Fireworks celebration on Saturday June 15th at 10pm at Slyvester Field on Route 139

 

Halifax in Lights 4th of July 

Halifax in Lights will be hosting a family fun day on the Town Hall Green from 12pm-4pm on Saturday, June 29th. There will be a bike/scooter/doll carriage patriotic decorating contest, a sidewalk chalk contest, facepainting, bounce houses, sack races, and much more. Local crafters and vendors will also be setting up tables. Doug Lauzon from Hall of Fame Music will be providing music and Bella’s will be providing food. Join us for a fun-filled day of family entertainment.
In the evening the fun will move to the field behind the elementary school where the DJ will be playing music, there will be food from Bella’s, and FunFlicks will be setting up a free outdoor movie RV (a 2006 flick with Robin Williams). The music and food will resume at 6pm and the movie will start at approximately 8:30pm.

July 4, 2013- FIREWORKS

Experience Fall River’s Fourth of July Fireworks from the best vantage point; the deck of the Battleship Massachusetts!  Gates open at 7:30 – 9 PM.  Fireworks 9:30 PM.  Price $5 per person. Children under 5 free.  No alcoholic beverages allowed.

Join us as we celebrate the birth of our nation with a fireworks spectacular in the skies above Patriot Place! Spend the  2nd and the 3rd at Patriots place for lots of free family friendly events

 Marshfield MA  Fireworks 

Wednesday, July 3rd
Head to the Marshfield waterfront in Green Harbor for a family-friendly night of great music and fireworks to support Citizens for Children’s Safety. Food and beverages will be provided complimentary from Mamma Mia’s, Mayflower & Blue Hills Breweries $20 donation/admission. Open to everyone! Kids under 12 are free!

New Bedford Fireworks

Plymouth MA firework and 4th of July celebration

Begins at Hedge Road, North Plymouth

Concert

Traditional New England 4th of July concert on the waterfront with the Legion Bud Band at 7:30pm.  FREE to the public.

 

FIREWORKS

If funding is secured the fireworks will begin between at about 9:00 p.m. The fireworks are lit off on a barge in Plymouth Harbor and can be seen from many vantage points around town.

 

Quincy 62nd Flag Day Parade and Celebration

Saturday, June 15 from 7:00 PM to 10:00 PM
Location:   Parade Route and Pageant Field
The 62nd Annual Flag Day Parade and Celebration will be held on Saturday, June 15, 2013. The parade will kick off at 7:00 p.m. from Coddington Street and works its way through a 1.5 mile route before culminating with a celebration and firework display at Pageant Field. All are encouraged to attend.

It’s this Saturday, June 22, 5-9PM behind the Yelle Elementary School. Fireworks at 9:00pm

The parade begins at 7 pm at the Boston

Higashi School on North Main Street, proceeding

down North Main Street to Memorial Parkway.

Shut down of North Main Street will begin around 6:15 pm.

We are pleased to announce that the 48th annual Sharon 5 Road Race will take place on Sunday, June 30, 2013 at 9AM. Click here for more information.  Online registration is now open!

BIG news – we have all *new* food this year, featuring Sharon’s first ever food truck fair, including many of the Boston area’s finest food trucks. More details coming soon. Plan to eat dinner at the lake… even if you aren’t planning to stay for the fireworks!

  • Dunk tank – where you can dunk Stoughton Fire Chief Mark Dolloff (12:30 p.m.)
  • Stoughton Police K9 show (1 p.m. – 1:30 p.m.)
  • Petting zoo (10 a.m. – 2 p.m.)
  • Face painting (10 a.m. – 2 p.m.)
  • Pony rides (10 a.m. – 2 p.m.)
  • Inflatable obstacle course and bounce houses (10 a.m. – 2 p.m.)
  • Hot air balloon rides (10 a.m. – 2 p.m.)

Schedule of events subject to change.

Food and ice cream for kids will be provided by the Knights of Columbus and Daddy’s Dairy.

Kids Day 2013 is made possible with help from the YMCA, Randolph Savings Bank, Stoughton Fire Department, Stoughton Police Department, Stoughton Media Access, Walgreens, Tattoos by Pushing Ink, Stoughton Public Schools, Stoughton DPW, Kind Snack Bar, and the Stoughton Woman’s Club.

Kids Day will serve as a warm up for Stoughton Community Events Committee’s annual July 4th festivities.

The annual carnival, concert and fireworks are planned for the evening of Wednesday, July 3.

The annual parade is scheduled for 2 p.m. on Thursday, July 4.
