Free Thursday Night Summer Concerts and Outdoor movies 2013 in Weymouth MA

The town of Weymouth offers a series of summer Concerts and  outdoor Movies on Thursday nights in July and August  at the  Ralph Talbot Amphitheater green  next to Town Hall!  So bring   your lawn chairs and blankets to enjoy the music and movies!

Thursday  July 11th : Concert: The Jamtones (6:30pm)

Josh and the Jamtones is an exciting and hilarious new Boston-based interactive dance party kids band geared towards two- to ten-year-olds and parents of all ages!
Thursday  July 18th  Concert: Wayne from Maine (6:30pm) 

For over a decade, Wayne from Maine has been performing  and recording music for children. The Wayne from Maine show is  an adventure through various musical styles designed for the young and young at heart. Audience participation is  always encouraged. Volunteers are invited up on stage to play various percussive instruments or sing  into a wireless microphone. The  audience becomes part of  the show. There’s  never a dull moment as Wayne inspires young minds to think and laugh with his very own brand

Thursday August 1st  Family Karaoke Night (6:30pm)

Thursday August 8th : Movie: How to Train Your Dragon (8pm)

Hiccup is a young Viking who defies convention when he befriends one of his deadliest foes — a ferocious dragon he calls Toothless. But humans and dragons are supposed to be mortal enemies, not buddies, and this unlikely pair must overcome many obstacles and one ultimate challenge – to save both their worlds.

 
Thursday August 15th  Movie: Hotel Transylvania (8pm)

Welcome to Hotel Transylvania Dracula’s lavish five-stake resort where monsters and their families can live it up and no humans are allowed. One special weekend Dracula (Adam Sandler) has invited all his best friends Frankenstein and his wife the Mummy the Invisible Man the Werewolf family and more to celebrate his beloved daughter Mavis’s (Selena Gomez) 118th birthday. For Dracula catering to all of these legendary monsters is no problem but the party really starts when one ordinary guy stumbles into the hotel and changes everything!
Thursday August 22nd : The Goonies (at the George Lane Beach; 8pm)

 

Following a mysterious treasure map into a spectacular underground realm of twisting passages, outrageous booby-traps and a long-lost pirate ship full of golden dubloons, the kids race to stay one step ahead of a family of bumbling bad guys… and a mild-mannered monster with a face only a mother could love.
