December School vacation week is fast approaching.  If you’re looking for something to occupy the kids after the craziness of Christmas holiday   settles down, check out these South Shore  events and activities. Southwick’s Zoo Animal Show!

Friday, Dec. 28
2 shows: 1:00pm & 2:30pm
Ages 3 & up (Advance Ticket Sales Only)
Children: $8 M / $12 NM; Adults: $5
Join us for a live animal show presented by Southwick’s Zoo.
Learn about animal adaptations and the physical differences between mammals, birds, and reptiles. We’ll see an exciting variety of animals with scales, fur, and feathers.

Patriots Place in Foxboro

All week  The Hall at Patriot Place presented by Raytheon
Children 12 and under receive a FREE 2012 Patriots yearbook with paid admission to The Hall during school vacation week. Kids admission for ages 5-12 is $5. Limited one per child.

Reptile Show –  Thursday December 27th 4:00pm:
Rainforest Reptile Shows is the most popular traveling wildlife education organization based in Boston Ma. Experience direct contact with live animals, artifacts and fascinating stories about the animals and their natural habitats. Come join us for some summertime barn fun this Christmas holiday week! Farm visits is a fun and educational traveling petting farm that will be bringing baby farm animals to Kidz Wurld! Come hold baby bunnies, ducklings, goats, pigs, kittens and more!   Event is free with a playtime admission of $11.00

Boomer’s Carver Playland and Lazer Tag

BARN BABIES - Barn Babies traveling petting zoo will be at Boomer’s Playland Dec. 22nd 2012. at this time this is a first come first served event.  Special Event admission will be charged of $12.00 per child between the hours of 10am – 12 noon if extended to 1pm the special event admission will continue.All admissions include Playland for 1 hour or all day…

 

Laser Tag TournamentDec. 22nd at 3pm Boomer’s Laser Tag will be having our Fall TournamentAnyone that quailified can join for just $10.00 Registration opens at 10am at the Playland Game play starts at 3pm – 3 age catagories, prizes and gift  cards and bragging rights are up for grabs.  Havent’ quailified yet? you can do so by coming in and playing a game and scoreing over 10,000 points – Over 200 people have done so!  the $10.00 entrace fee covers all game play for the Tournament
