Day 475 Santa Hat Challenge and Christmas Holiday Parade 2012 in Brockton MA

Department Store Santa and will be celebrating the Christmas Holiday with a Santa hat challenge, Christmas Holiday Parade and several Holiday musical concerts.  In 1890 in our small industrial town of Brockton, on Main Street is where the history of Santa, his red suit and a snowy white beard was created. James Edgar, a department store owner who loved children made history by creating a red suit from the images of a man named Thomas Nast.

11:00 check-in, 1:00 p.m. official count
