Do you like pizza? Well if you do you check out the 3rd annual pizza bowl that will be held on Sunday January 29th from 3-5:30pm at the Hanson Middle School on Route 58.   The Pizza bowl is being sponsored by the the Rotary Club of Rockland Hanson, Hanson Kiwanis and the Hanson Middle school builders club. 2012 pizza bowl in Hanson MA

 

Come and Taste test pizzas from local pizza places from Whitman, Hanson, Pembroke and Hanover.

For just $5 admission (children under 5 free)  you can vote on pizzas in the following categories: Cheesiest Cheese Pizza, Manliest Meatiest Pizza, Kid’s Choice, Vegetarian’s Voice and the Ultimate Bar Pizza.

 

Last year the winners  will they  win again in 2012 only time will tell.

 

The winners, proud to accept their prestigious titles of “bests” in the community included:

Best Overall: Mikes House of Pizza, Hanson MA

Runner Up: Venus Café, Whitman MA

Cheesiest Cheese: Mikes House of Pizza, Hanson MA

Vegetarian’s Voice: Trio Café, Whitman MA

Manliest Meatiest: Rocco’s, Hanover MA

Kid’s Choice: Papa Gino’s, Whitman MA

 

 

 

There will be game for adults and children alike  Wii challenges, obstacle course, a  Punt challenge, Flag Football and Pass Challenge. Money raised during the pizza bowl will go towards   Hanson  Food Pantry project.
